Esta asignatura aporta al perfil del egresado los conocimientos básicos de contabilidad e información financiera como una herramienta para la toma de decisiones; además de ser parte fundamental para las materias afines con temas de emprendedores que serán vistas en cursos posteriores.

Aplica los conceptos de la teoría de la probabilidad y estadística para organizar, clasificar, analizar e interpretar datos para la toma decisiones en aplicaciones de ingeniería biomédica, en computación y comunicaciones.

In the design of the English subject programs, the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ​​was incorporated as a linguistic reference. This made it possible to define the skills and abilities that students must acquire for each level of English offered at the Institute. In this way, the levels of English I and II at the Institute correspond to level A1 of the Common European Framework. On the other hand, the thematic content of the seven levels taught at the Institute has been developed with a focus mainly on general English, however, components on ESP (English for Specific Purposes) are incorporated. That is, topics and activities that are specific to each area of ​​study are worked on, thus having a direct correlation between the English subject and the most outstanding topics in their area of ​​study and possible fields of work for the student. Regarding generic skills, the activities to be carried out in English promote the development of the skills of learning to learn, learning to obtain information, learning to collaborate, learning to apply knowledge and learning to solve problems.
